The Positivitree, the charity founded by MWOTY 2022 Women Making a Difference category Runner Up, Rachel Daley, has secured funding from the National Lottery Community Fund to capacity build and scale up its services in Wirral.
The Wirral-based service which provides vital services for families impacted by SEND has been awarded an incredible £195,000.
Announcing the funding on LinkedIn, the charity’s trustees said: “This funding is so important for our small charity to expand our reach and continue with the impact that we have created for families raising children with disabilities. From little acorns, might Positivitree’s grow!”
The funding will allow new employment opportunities at the charity and trustees appealed for passionate, creative and innovative individuals who want to work for an organisation with huge social impact for families raising children with disabilities to join their mission and next exciting chapter.
Founder Rachel stepped down from her role as CEO last month to pursue a new role, handing over the reins to Tam Gilbert.
Congratulations to Tam Gilbert and all at The Positivitree, and good luck Rachel on your new adventure!
