Terms & Conditions for Nominations

  • Nominees must make an impact on others within the Merseyside region.
  • A photograph in JPEG format must be attached with your application.
  • Please remember to include your nominees name within the photo title.
  • Please remember to include as much detail and information as you can in the nomination form as this will be used as judging criteria and in the programme on the day of the event. So please make sure that any details provided are correct as amends cannot be made.
  • Please provide contact details for both nominee and nominator.
  • You agree to images submitted and those taken at the event(s) can be used for press and social/digital media purposes.
  • The Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding any aspect of the nomination.
  • Judges reserve the right to re-categorise nominations as appropriate.
  • For any business categories evidence will be required of majority female ownership and forward financial stability.
  • Previous award Category Winners cannot be nominated until a period of 2 years has passed since the last nomination.
  • The Organisers reserve the right to retain entries, videos and photographs for subsequent publication or exhibition in relation to Merseyside Women of the Year Awards and its publications.
  • Nominees must be able to attend the VIP Finalists Reception, on Monday 23rd June 2025 at 6.00pm – 8.00pm at Fazenda and the Awards Luncheon on Friday 27th June 2025 at 12.00pm at the Crowne Plaza, Waterfront, Liverpool.
  • Only successful finalists will be notified due to the number of nominations received and no further correspondence will be entered into regarding non successful nominees.

For your convenience we have created a simple nomination form in both a Microsoft Word and a PDF file, please contact us. Applications are acceptable in other formats providing that all questions are answered and follow the same format as form supplied.

Terms & Conditions for Voting

We cannot be held responsible for the inability to vote via the online system or any faults that may occur. We have tested the site using industry standard browsers and platforms and all systems work as commercially expected. All voting is monitored and any suspicious activity will result in the voting for that nominee being suspended and removed from the awards. The Judges’ votes are added to the public vote to determine the overall Woman of the Year winner and no correspondence will be entered into regarding any aspect of the outcome. Only individual nominations are to be made per category and where there is a group category one person is to be appointed as a representative for the group.
