Last week, more than 450 guests gathered at St George’s Hall to celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of some of the most forward-thinking and innovative businesses in our city region – with three MWOTY finalists walking away with awards.
MWOTY alumni were out in force at the Liverpool Chamber Innovation in Business 2024 awards. Entrepreneur 2024 winner Amanda Unsworth, MD of Trinity Logistics, won International Business of the Year; Nugent, led by joint winner of the MWOTY 2024 Community Leader category, Jo Henney, won the Social Impact award, and MWOTY 2023 Woman to Watch, Lucky Ali, was named Young Person of the Year.
As Lucky was unable to attend the event, MWOTY Founding Director, Ellie Kerr, collected the award on her behalf.
The Family Transition Company, which was founded by the runner up of the MWOTY 2023 Business Leader category, Dr Sue Palmer-Conn, was also recognised at the awards as a finalist in the Innovation in Health and Wellbeing Award.
MWOTY would like to extend a huge congratulations to all the businesses and individuals who were either shortlisted or winners on the night, especially our fantastic alumni.
