Iconic CIC, led by MWOTY 2025 Social Impact Winner, Gemma Gosling, has joined forced with Lumiere Charity for Liverpool’s first ever Inclusive Showcase: Dare to Be Different Collective
Bringing something truly inspiring to the Lumiere Charity Soft Play & Sensory Centre, this a one-of-a-kind fashion event that celebrates the creativity, confidence, and individuality of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including those with mental health challenges and hidden disabilities.
What to Expect
- SEND children and young people will design or upcycle their own outfits
- They’ll take to the runway, proudly showcasing their unique styles
- Enjoy an afternoon full of live performances, music, food, raffles, and exciting surprises!
The event will be hosted by the Hayley Smallman, runner up in the MWOTY 2025 “Women of Courage” category, and will feature a special guest appearance by the High Sheriff of Merseyside, Billy Hui, who will present a very special award to the incredible children taking part
Why This Event Matters
This is more than just a fashion show it’s a powerful celebration of inclusion, creativity, and self-expression. Together, Iconic CIC and Lumiere Charity are creating a platform where every child is seen, celebrated, and empowered to shine with pride. All proceeds will go directly toward supporting children and young people with SEND, mental health needs, and hidden disabilities.
