Neo Community / ADDvanced Solutions community network

Neo Community

Neo Community is a charity on the Wirral, having a strong mission to operate as a forward-thinking community capacity building tool that has reached out and worked with many communities, this enables the communities we work with to have ‘THEIR’ community back, as the strongest stakeholders of their areas, and tackle their own issues and barriers head on!

Neo is committed to promoting the growth of self-sustaining, resilient communities. We are at the forefront of reducing food waste and food insecurity through awareness, education, and food provision. Supporting over 130,356 families with 461.51 tonnes of food, which has a social value of £322,389 and reinforced by 23,532 volunteer hours.

Neo Community is very proud to be sponsoring the MWOTY Community Leader award, alongside other previous winners such as ADDvanced Solutions. We know only too well how important this platform is to the Women of Merseyside and the impact it can make on their passions, and businesses. We want to support the opening of more doors, and the connecting with others this platform brings.

In June 2021 we were recognised and awarded the incredibly prestigious Queens Award for Voluntary Service. This is the highest honour a voluntary group can receive and acknowledges the tireless efforts of our wonderful team of NEO volunteers.

ADDvanced Solutions Community Network

ADDvanced Solutions Community Network is a Community Interest Company, social enterprise established in October 2012.

Through the participation and co-production with families living with neurodevelopmental conditions, specific learning difficulties and associated mental health needs, we provide open access, community-based, solution-focused learning, coaching and mentoring programmes featuring health, wellbeing and enrichment activities for families living with these needs and for the professionals who support them.

Our team has over 20 years of professional experience – from across education, health and social care, the criminal justice system and community development working with families living with neurodevelopmental conditions, specific learning difficulties and associated mental needs. Our offer has been designed and developed through the consultation and participation of children, young people and their families. It is strengthened by our personal experiences supporting our own families living with these needs.

Commissioned by Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Board across the Liverpool City Region and areas of Cheshire, we are partners and a social model of learning and support for the clinical assessment and diagnostic neurodevelopmental pathways.

We extend our offer by working in partnership with other like-minded community-led organisations, including fellow MWOTY sponsors, Neo Community.

It is the passion for making change happen makes this event so special.
