Farida is a Network Care Coordinator for asylum seekers, refugees and global ethnic majority communities. Drawing on her own lived experience as a refugee, she has dedicated her career to improving healthcare access and support for vulnerable communities. Over the past four years, Farida has helped transform services by establishing innovative refugee health clinics and community-based support initiatives, enabling over 1,100 people to access vital care in the past year alone. An award-winning advocate for inclusion health, she works across healthcare, local authorities and the voluntary sector to ensure those facing trauma and displacement receive compassionate, coordinated support.
