Janet, like most people who run voluntary groups, or does respite work, likes to stay in the background when it comes to public profile.

She is always first to promote the skills and role of others, but without her vision and skill, “True Colours” would not exist, and two partner families would not have benefited from her love and care for their children in giving the families a break once a month.

She is dedicated to all the people she serves, and in True Colours, the relationships she formed in her working years drive her to help them to keep their sense of community, and also to show that they have untapped talents and skills, which, through careful and systematic learning, can be unleashed to their full potential.
