On Thursday 17th November, MWOTY supporter Fazenda Liverpool hosted the first of a series of mini-MWOTY networking events for finalists and sponsors.
Founding Director, Ellie Kerr and Fazenda Liverpool Relationships & Events Manager, Catarina Pereira, welcomed the first group to the intimate event.
The event was attended by Woman of the Year 2022 Jubeda Khatun, sponsored by Hill Dickinson and colleague Jennifer Burns, along with Jennifer Greenan, winner of the Financial Planning Corporation sponsored Business Leader award and Barbara Rouse, winner of the Community Change award, sponsored by Neo Community and ADDvanced Solutions.
Speaking after the event, Ellie said: “We have always said that we want the impact of MWOTY to be felt all year round. Each year we aim to provide support and mentorship to all of our winners and finalists and these events at Fazenda are just another way to do this.
“It was a great opportunity to bring some of our amazing finalists together with our supporters to discuss what they have been working on since the awards and their plans for next year. I’m totally amazed by the quality of the support and networking that the MWOTY finalists freely give to each other.
“Thanks to the ongoing support from Fazenda, we look forward to hosting more of these mini-events in 2023 and keeping our MWOTY family as united and supportive as it has always been!”
