The MWOTY awards was a fantastic event and an excellent opportunity for us to network with like-minded people and make new contacts. As a social investment business One Ark is all about making an impact on people’s lives and offering life changing opportunities so the event is completely aligned with our brand. The afternoon was inspirational and we were delighted to support the event. We are already looking forward to next year!
I have enjoyed my part in the journey of MWOTY. The event has grown considerably since Jean, Ellie and I became custodians of the event in 2009 and the women of Merseyside who are recognised and awarded never cease to inspire me. I am so very pleased that the event is a founding partner in the Merseyside Women’s Fund and I look forward to watching that fund as it grows.
Life about trusting your feelings, taking chances, learning from the past and realising that everything changes. I see 2018/19 as the year to change. My business www.designated.org.uk and I will no longer be involved in the delivery of the digital services and online communications for #MWOTY. All of my team and I wish everyone involved in Merseyside Women of the Year Awards continued success.
We all had a wonderful time at Merseyside Woman of the Year last week and the day will remain with me always.

I was delighted and privileged to be an award winner - but more importantly thrilled to meet and share my success with so many, truly inspiring woman from across Merseyside. I laughed loudly with Pauline Daniels (an excellent MC!) and cried in equal measure by the courage, determination and inspiration shared by my female peers. Thank you again for a memorable and moving day.

We have benefited in so many way from this not just financially but it was an invaluable profile building opportunity for us to be able to explain what CFK does in front of so many people. It was an extreme honour and privilege to be part of Merseyside Women of the Year 2014, celebrating the achievements of many amazing women in Merseyside. I am humbled and grateful to be acknowledged as an LJMU beneficiary winner and the event has inspired me to continue in my studies to become a social worker, which will enhance my knowledge and experience of supporting individuals in my community.
