The Community Foundation for Merseyside (CFM) is delighted to announce the launch of the new Merseyside Women’s Fund after its national membership body UK Community Foundations (UKCF), secured a record £3.4 million award from the DCMS Tampon Scheme.* This is the largest grant awarded to any organisation from this fund.

Now in its 16th year the awards are held on Friday 22nd June 2018 at the Crowne Plaza, it is now the biggest event for women on Merseyside. Public voting will close on Monday 12th June 2018 at 4.59pm, for whom the public think should be the Merseyside Woman of the Year 2018.
Counsellor and educator Alison Hodgson has been crowned this year’s Michael W Halsall Solicitors Merseyside Woman of the Year.
The event, organised by Elaine Owen of Designated Associates, businesswoman Ellie Kerr and Gadsby Accountants’ Jean Gadsby, celebrates the achievements of women to leave a legacy of amazing role models for the next generation of women.
