Ellie has been instrumental in sustaining the Merseyside Women of the Year awards event through her work with the network group, Women In Business NW and she has received both local and national awarded recognition for her work within the women's enterprise agenda.
Ellie is a business consultant is a great connector and contact architect. As fantastic she as a passion for the Liverpool City region and has been behind helping some of the biggest organisations in the region be the best version of themselves. Setting in place the right processes, at the right time that function correctly for the achievement of project on time, on budget. Ellie is also Mum and taxi service to her very busy son, Brodie.
Women In Business NW & Merseyside Woman of the Year Awards Event
Ellie was the very first winner of the "Merseyside Woman of the Year" award in 2003. She was nominated for the work she did to ensure the survival of Women In Business NW network. Ellie has continued to support women going into business and women in work in addition to helping to organise the Merseyside Women of the Year Awards.
In July 2010, Ellie along with Jean Gadsby and Elaine Owen took over the awards event management and it has truly felt as if the event has "come home". Annually with over 400+ attendees and always a long waiting list, it is the largest celebration of women's achievements on Merseyside and is the highlight in the diary across the area. The Awards continues to raise the economic profile of women's contribution to the City region across all sectors and in areas of life.
Ellie worked for over 18 years at Business Link and now as a Consultant to deliver some of the biggest events on Merseyside, The Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC) for Liverpool Vision in 2011, Inbound Marketing UK and IFB2016. She uses her contact architecture to make strong connections which she has made over her years dealing with business across Merseyside and the region.
