We are very sad to announce that Julie Shute Runner Up in The Leonard Curtis Business Solutions Women of Philanthropy Award at Merseyside Women of the Year Awards 2015 has today lost her fight with ‘Fluff’ the brain cancer with which she was diagnosed in 2013. Julies blog; Fluff’s Journey has had over 50,000 hits and Julie and her friends and family have raised many thousands of pounds for charity.
Angela Samata, Eunice Huthart and Jan Walton were among the winners honoured at the Merseyside Women of the Year Awards 2015.
They were amongst a host of city women singled out for their achievements in the fields of business, arts, health, charity and voluntary work.
Over 450 people turned out to see them receive their awards at the glamorous ceremony at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, organised by 3 busy women Jean Gadsby, Elaine Owen and Ellie Kerr.
Champagne was flowing as guests recognised the extraordinary success of the local women who have inspired the region.
